總統蔡英文今天結束休士頓過境行程轉往宏都拉斯，蔡總統在休士頓期間會晤多位美方政要與聯邦參眾議員，並與僑胞熱切互動。
蔡總統「英捷專案」中美洲四國訪問團一行人，在美國時間八日午間結束一日半的過境行程轉往宏都拉斯，數百名僑胞在下榻飯店熱情歡送。
蔡總統在上午與共和黨籍聯邦參議員克魯茲（TedCruz）會談，並與資深聯邦參議員馬侃（JohnMcCain）等通電話。
兩黨聯邦眾議員費倫侯（BlakeFarenthold）、葛林（AlGreen）與傑克森?李（SheilaJacksonLee）等，在七日陪同訪問團參觀美術館或出席僑宴。
蔡總統一行人在休士頓期間，也與國務院前亞太副助卿薛瑞福（Ran-dallSchriver）與休士頓市長特納（SylvesterTurner）等華府與德州政要會晤。
蔡總統在行程中保持低調，未有公開談話。美方依過境慣例，在維護安全優先下，給予禮遇與舒適待遇。

總統蔡英文七日搭乘長榮專機，展開九天八夜的「英捷專案」，七日到十五日出訪友邦宏都拉斯、尼加拉瓜、瓜地馬拉和薩爾瓦多，去程過境美國休士頓，回程過境美國舊金山。
